COMMENTS
In 1963 when I first came to Fort Lauderdale and enrolled at Northeast (The 1st year the school opened) there was a COW pasture to the east of us. 441 was in the boondocks, there was farm land between Pompano and Fort Lauderdale. Surfing at Jade Beach was the best, the College invasion was fantastic and Jerry's Drive-in was happening on Sunrise Blvd. The Federal Drive-in Movie was the place to take your girl friend on Saturday Night. What a great time to be a teenage in this city!
